Are you thinking about going out to play Bingo? When you are in a new town, area or if you are thinking about trying out a new Bingo hall, here are a few tips on how to pick out a safe bingo hall.

Be sure to look for streetlights, and park near one. Most often Bingo is over in the later night time hours and you need to be able to see your car, where your are walking, and light gives you a better sense of safety and awareness of what is going on around you.

Don’t try to park only right next to the door, but along where a sidewalk is. If you park across the road you run the additional risk of being noticed, hit by a car, and of your car being watched. When you make sure to park on the same side of the street as the Bingo hall, you are safer, and you can get to your car – or back to the Bingo hall faster.

When leaving the Bingo hall, try to walk in a group that is walking towards the same group of cars. Most all Bingo players are going to walk out of the building at the same time, this is safety in numbers which is important when you are in the middle of the city or even when you are out in the country.

Have your keys in your hand before you leave the building. Being prepared to open your car door when you are out in the dark of night is going to be important so you don’t fumble around and give anyone the opportunity to mug you.

When going to play Bingo at a new establishment, it is wise to go with a fellow Bingo player. It is exciting to play Bingo in different places, try your luck, and make new friends, but it is also important to remember safety in new places as well because criminals know that you have money to play and if they need money you are going to be an easy target for them when you are alone.
